01 Who we are

This policy explains how Slash Mark IT Solutions (OPC) Private Limited (“Slash Mark”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data on the pre-launch website for Mark Automation at https://markautomation.slashmark.in/ (the “Site”). For the personal data described here, Slash Mark is the Data Fiduciary. Our registered office is at 2nd Floor, Ramnagar Road, Karimnagar, Telangana 505001, India (CIN U62099TS2024OPC187033).

Mark Automation is not yet available. When it launches, it will have its own privacy notice explaining how the product handles business and customer data.

02 The laws we follow

We process personal data in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011. We are also aligning with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, whose obligations come into force in phases.

03 What we collect

• When you browse the Site: nothing through forms, cookies or analytics. The Site is a set of static pages and loads no third-party scripts, fonts or trackers.
• Server logs: like any website, our hosting and network providers may automatically record technical information such as IP address, browser type, date and time, and the page requested. These logs are used only to keep the Site secure and running, and to meet legal obligations.
• When you email us: your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you choose to write. The contact section on the Site only prepares an email in your own email app; nothing you type there is sent or stored until you send the email yourself.

We do not ask for, and ask you not to send, sensitive personal data such as passwords, financial details or health information.

04 Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry, which you have voluntarily sent us for that purpose.
• To keep the Site secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
• To comply with the law, respond to lawful requests from authorities, and protect our legal rights.

We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising, build profiles, or make automated decisions about you.

05 Who we share it with

Only with service providers who host the Site or our email on our behalf and are bound to protect it, and with government or law-enforcement authorities where the law requires. These providers may store data on servers inside or outside India; any transfer outside India follows the conditions set by Indian law.

06 How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails for as long as needed to handle your request and for reasonable record-keeping, and then delete them. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and as required by law. You can ask us to erase your data earlier, unless the law requires us to keep it.

07 How we protect it

The Site is served only over HTTPS with strict security headers, and access to our email and systems is restricted to people who need it. If a personal data breach affects you, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.

08 Your rights

You can ask us to:

• confirm whether we hold your personal data and give you a summary of it and how it is used;
• correct, complete or update it;
• erase it, where it is no longer needed and the law does not require us to keep it;
• withdraw any consent you gave, as easily as you gave it;
• nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to; and
• resolve a grievance about how your data is handled.

Write to info@slashmark.in or to our Grievance Officer at hr@slashmark.in. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting. We will respond as soon as we can and in any case within the time the law allows.

09 Children

The Site is meant for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. Please do not send us personal data of a child. If we learn that we have received it without verifiable consent from a parent or guardian, we will delete it.

10 Grievance Officer

We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days. 11 Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
